What is it?
Food supplement based on fucoxanthin from a concentrate of Undaria pinnatifida seaweed.
Fucoxanthin is a pigment, a carotenoid that acts on the cells of visceral white adipose tissue, specifically on those that accumulate in the abdomen and also in the liver. Fucoxanthin stimulates the action of the protein UCP1 (Uncoupling Protein 1) in white adipose tissue, involved in the oxidation of fats and their conversion from energy into heat (thermogenic effect). In addition, fucoxanthin has a beneficial effect at the cardiovascular level, since in the liver, this carotenoid promotes the biosynthesis of DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid), an Omega 3 that promotes the reduction of LDL-cholesterol (“bad cholesterol”), involved in obesity and in the development of cardiovascular diseases.
